Red-spotted longhorn beetle (Batocera rufomaculata) is also known as mango tree borer, mango stem-borer and tropical fig borer.

You are right, it's a scary beetle. I don't know whether they harmful to human or not, but I always used to be afraid of them.

I think you've captured it in home, on a floor, looks much bigger in front of the floor's dots!

Thanks Andy for your visit and comment. The larva of this long horn beetle feeds on the stems of a variety of trees, including mango and fig trees. Not sure about the feeding habit of adult long horn beetle, but I think it will also feed on the leaves and branches of these trees. Supply your beetle with some fresh leaves and branches of mango or fig tree and let's see what happens.
