The Sweet orange is the fruit of the citrus species Citrus sinensis in the family Rutaceae. The variety of sweet orange grown in Pakistan is commonly known as Malta.

Kinnow
Kinnow, a variety of Mandarin orange, belong to family Rutaceaea, a large family of true citrus fruit. They resemble flattened oranges with loose orange skin and have a fragrant aroma. Their skin can easily be detached from the segments. Their flesh is sweet but it contains a large number of pips. This fruit grows in many countries. In Pakistan kinnow is cultivated extensively in Punjab Province.

Bunch Of Grapes
Here are the pictures of some varieties of grapes bunches, I took at different occasions. The first one is the biggest grapes bunch, I ever saw. Its weight was approximately 3.2 kg (7.05 lbs). These grapes are imported from Tajikistan. The other three varieties are from my own grapes vines, that I grew in my house.

Mango-National Fruit of Pakistan
Mango belong to the genus Mangifera, in the flowering plant family Anacardiaceae. The mango is native to the Indian Subcontinent, but now cultivated in many tropical regions world wide. Mango is one of the most widely used fruits for food, juice, pickle, flavor, fragrance and color and that's why, It's called the king of fruits. Pakistan is the fourth biggest mango producing country in the world. The area under mango cultivation is 167.5 thousand hectares, with the production of 1,732 thousand tones on the average. Mango is the nation fruit of Pakistan. Besides Pakistan mango also serve as the national fruit of India and Philippines, while the mango tree is the national tree of Bangladesh.

Wild Strawberry-Potentilla indica
Wild Strawberry (Potentilla indica, formerly Duchesnea indica), also called mock strawberry, Gurbir, Indian strawberry or false strawberry belong to family Rosaceae. Its foliage and fruit are similar to true strawberry, though it is classified in a different genus, and has yellow flowers, unlike the white or slightly pink flowers of true strawberries. It is considered a noxious weed in some parts of the world.

The Chikoo Fruit (Manilkara zapota) which is known as Sapodilla Fruit in English, is a medium sized (2–4 inches in diameter) fruit. From outside the fruit is rusty brown like potato and from inside it's pale-yellow and pulpy, looks very similar to orange. I bought and taste this fruit for the first time in my life. It has a very unpleasant taste and that is why no member of my family was ready to eat it. I took some pictures to share on my blog and then put the fruits in a jar for fruit flies to feed and hatch on them.

Wild Fig Tree
This wild fig tree (Probably Ficus variegata) grows in northern areas of Pakistan. The strange thing about this tree is that the figs (fruit) grow on trunk and mature branches and that is why it is called "Trunk fruiting fig". Contrary to common figs which ripen in June, these figs ripen in August. It is called "Urmal" in local language Pashto in district Buner, NWFP.

Papaya Plants
This is the first time, I ever saw a papaya plant and green papaya fruit. In our area people don't grow papaya, may be because of our extreme weather. From the top this plant is covered with a plastic sheet to protect it from cold.

The large deeply lobed leaves (50–70 cm in diameter), are borne on long, hollow petioles emerging from the stem apex. The five petals fragrant flowers appear on the axils of the leaves. Plum Tree Pictures
A plum or gage is a stone fruit tree in the genus Prunus, subgenus Prunus. The subgenus is distinguished from other subgenera (peaches, cherries, bird cherries, etc) in the shoots having a terminal bud and the side buds solitary (not clustered), the flowers being grouped 1-5 together on short stems, and the fruit having a groove running down one side, and a smooth stone.
