Hund (Swabi), which was the capital city of Hindu Shahi till 1008 AD and an important city of Gandhara, is now a backward and neglected village of District Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hund lies on the west bank of the Indus River (Abbasen, اباسين), about half way between Attock and Tarbela Dam. These days the worth to visit spots of Hund are the river bank and the Hund museum, which display the antiques excavated from Hund ruins.

My friend is from Hund...I want to visit his village and give him a surprise... I don't want him to know because he is angry with me and not attending my phone...I want to talk to him so that we can be friends again...If I'm going from Rawalpindi to Hund,how should I go on public transport? Is the villlage a walking distance from motorway? and will I be able to find his home by just knowing the name of my friend...How many people are there in village and do they know everybody of their village? I want complete info so that I don't have any problem finding him...please get complete info from your cousions etc in Hund and mail me as soon as possible...thanks God I found a way on net to talk to someone belonging to Hund...I have seen Goggle earth to see that place but there's not much info...my friend will not even attend my call....so I can't rely on him...he will run away if he knows I'm coming to his home...please...please...please My email address: kamranmdar@hotmail.com
