Wagah border is the only road border crossing between India and Pakistan, and lies on the GT Road at Wagah village, between the two cities Lahore, Pakistan and Amritsar, India. The flag lowering ceremony at Wagah border is very strange and exciting. At the flag lowering ceremony very energetic and thrilling parade is done by the security forces of both countries. A large number of people from both countries visit the Wagah border daily for watching the closing ceremony.

Very nice shots. What season of the year is it there? It looks like the tree is in bloom in the last shot so I wonder if it is spring there too.

I have been to wagah border a number of times but I am so glad to see pics from the other side of the border. The retreat ceremony is indeed awesome. Like your blog, and you have got some great pics of Lahore city and it looks beautiful.
Thanks Rahul for the comment and appreciation. I have been twice to wagah border to attend the flag retreat ceremony, however I wish to see the ceremony from Indian side.
