Awesome photography and wonderful that you are bringing awareness to the plight of those suffering due to the floods.
Thanks Catgirl for your comment and concern.
Thanks Marcy! Your feedback is highly appreciated.
Birdy this must be so devastating to the people around there with their food crops destroyed like this the last picture I thought was a lake till I read properly :(
I love water but it can be SO destructive. Things like this are heartbreaking!!
Thanks Philip and Joan for your comment and concern. The people in these areas are in very miserable condition. They are crying for basic needs such as food, drinking water and shelter.
To think that a maize field could be turned into that! I hope the water recedes soon. It's a yearly feature in my home state too. I hope the victims get all possible help. You've captured the scenes really well.
Thank you very much Kanak for your concern and well wishes. Hopefully the situation will get better soon.
Hi i actually thought about you when i saw it on TV, it said the statistics for the dead are more than what you said here. Glad you are safe. Flooding also happened last year here in my city, though far from us, but some people i know were affected. Only the photos are nice about flooding, hehe.
Thanks Andrea for your comment and concern about me. It makes me feel great. These information are from preliminary report. All these information are based on guesses. According to a news paper report the death toll has risen to 1,300 people.
