Ant Mimic Jumping Spider

Ant mimic jumping spider (myrmarachne plataleoides) is a jumping spider that mimics the Kerengga or weaver ant in morphology and behaviour. The body of the Kerengga Jumper appears like an ant, which has three body segments and six legs, by having constrictions on the cephalothorax and abdomen. This creates the illusion of having a distinct head, thorax and gaster of the weaver ant, complete with a long and slender waist. The large compound eyes of the weaver ant are mimicked by two black patches on the head. The males resemble a larger ant carrying a smaller one.

Heroin Addict

If you visit Peshawar or some other big cities of NWFP, you will find a number of people sitting or laying by road sides like in the photo below. These are heroin addicted people. Generally they inject or smoke heroin openly with no restriction. Our government officials and other law enforcing agencies have no control over heroin dealers. Actually they are not interested to control this abuse. Pakistan has the highest population of heroin addicts in the world. According to 2005 statistics there are about 3.20 million heroin addicts in Pakistan. What we can do is just pray, May God save us and our young generation from this abuse.

Narcissus tazetta Flower

Narcissus tazetta (Daffodil, Chinese Sacred Lily, Bunch-flowered Narcissus, Joss flower) is a perennial ornamental plant in the family Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae, that grows from the bulb. The flower has six white-colored petals and a deep yellow-colored cup-shaped coronas.
I planted Narcissus tazetta on our farm, when I was a child. These plants still exist and produced flowers in winter.

Dandelion Clock

Dandelion seed head is generally known as "dandelion clock" because of its spherical shape. It contains many single-seeded fruits called achenes. Each achene is attached to a pappus of fine hairs, which help in the wind dispersal of achenes (seeds).

Mud nest of some unknown bee/wasp or insect, I found in a hilly area. It size and shape was just similar to a duck egg. I broke the nest to get an idea about its maker, but I found only a brown spider inside.
