Catharanthus roseus-Madagascar Periwinkle

Catharanthus roseus (Madagascar Periwinkle) is a species of Catharanthus in family Apocynaceae native and endemic to Madagascar. The species is grown as ornamental and medicinal plant. Other name include Vinca rosea, Ammocallis rosea, Lochnera rosea, Cape Periwinkle, Rose Periwinkle, Rosy Periwinkle, and Old-maid.
