Wild Strawberry-Potentilla indica

Wild Strawberry (Potentilla indica, formerly Duchesnea indica), also called mock strawberry, Gurbir, Indian strawberry or false strawberry belong to family Rosaceae. Its foliage and fruit are similar to true strawberry, though it is classified in a different genus, and has yellow flowers, unlike the white or slightly pink flowers of true strawberries. It is considered a noxious weed in some parts of the world.

Evaniidae Ensign Wasps

Evaniidae is a family of parasitic wasps, generally known as the ensign wasps or hatchet wasps. There are about 400 species of  ensign wasps in 20 extant genera all over the world. The ensign wasp deposits her eggs inside cockroach egg cases, where the larvae develop. Due to this behavior of ensign wasps, They're know as Cockroach Egg Parasitoid Wasps. They're also known as Cockroach Killer Wasps.

Dengue Fever Epidemic in Pakistan

Pakistan is facing dengue fever epidemic these days. In the last two weeks more than 6,000 cases have been reported and at least forty people have died.
This post is intended to help the people effected by dengue fever.
Papaya leave juice is proven to be very effective against dengue fever. Here is how to juice the leaves:
For each dose of 2 tablespoonfuls once a day, you need 2 papaya leaves. Clean and pound them, and squeeze it with a filter cloth. Do not boil or cook or rinse with hot water. Use only the leafy part with no stem or sap.

Castor Semi-Looper Moth

The Castor Semi-Looper (Achaea janata) is a species of moth in the family Noctuidae (owlet moths). It has a wingspan of about 50mm. It has light and dark brown patterned forewings, and black and white hindwings. They are called  Castor Semi-Looper Moth, because their caterpillars known as costar semi-looper, feed on costar plant and move by looping.

50 Cents a Day

This little guy is a new serving boy at a local cold drinks shop. I didn't ask him about his age , but most probably he is under 12 years of age. I asked him about his working hours and his daily wage. He works from 9:00am to 7:00pm i.e 10 hours a day and gets 40 Pakistani rupees i.e 50 cents a day. 40 Pakistani rupees mean 0.5kg rice (uncooked) or 1.25kg wheat flour or 500ml milk or 4 cups of tea or a cane of Pepsi and that's all.
