Pehur High Level Canal

The Pehur High Level Canal (PHLC) also known as STFA Canal, is located at Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This 26 km long canal was constructed by a Turkish construction firm, STFA, at the cost of Rs 6,460 million. The project started in 1993 and completed in 2005. This is the first ever parabolic canal in Pakistan. The area directly benefited from the project is about 99,500 acres.

My Favorite Walking Track

The track on the left side of Pehur canal is a best walking track for the villagers of Bamkhel, Baja and Kalabat. It's my favorite track for walking and I always try to compel my friends to walk on this track. Actually I like the tracks with almost no traffic and free from dust. This track satisfies both criteria and that is why I prefer it.

Swabi Villages From The Top Of Mountain

Last Sunday we went hiking to Panjpir mountain (Panjpir Ghar). Though the weather was fogy and was not favorable for taking pictures, still I took some pictures of surrounding villages. Hoping some swabiwal will enjoy these images.
