Monochoria vaginalis

Monochoria vaginalis is a species of flowering plant in the family Pontederiaceae (water hyacinth family). It's known by a munber of common names, including lesser water hyacinth, heartleaf false pickerelweed and oval-leafed pondweed. It is an invasive aquatic plant, that grows in rice paddies and other water bodies. This is an annual or perennial herb growing in water from a small rhizome. The shiny green leaves are up to about 12 centimeters long and 10 wide and are borne on rigid, hollow petioles. The inflorescence bears 3 to 25 flowers which open underwater and all around the same time. Each has six purple-blue tepals just over a centimeter long. The fruit is a capsule about a centimeter long which contains many tiny winged seeds.

Milk Vetch or Milkvetch is a common name used for the plants species in the genus Astragalus (milkvetches), family Fabaceae. The species here is most probably Astragalus exscapus. It is a perennial flowering plant, produces yellow colored flowers in spring . It has pinnately compound leaves, grows up to 12 inch long. It grows wildly along field sides.

Blue Mist Flower

Blue Mist Flower (Conoclinium coelestinum) is a perennial wild flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, subfamily Asteroideae. It grow wildly in empty fields, particularly in wetlands. The flower colors range from blue to purple. The fields cover with mist flowers present a very beautiful view, particularly in early winter, when most plants die.

Purple Wildflower

I don't know the exact name of this purple wildflower, however it looks like "Rose vervain and Sweet rocket", but still very different and beautiful. It looks like a flower of flowers from the top. The petals have a special pattern, three petals joined together are in one shape, having relatively wide size, while the remaining two are some how narrow in shape.

African Wood Sorrel

African Wood Sorrel (Oxalis pes-caprae) also known as Cape sorrel, Bermuda buttercup, is a species of tristylous flowering plant in the wood sorrel family Oxalidaceae. It is also know as sourgrass or soursob due to its pleasant sour flavor. Some time ago, I used to cultivate this plant as an ornamental plant in my home.

Angel trumpet plant and flowers

Angel trumpet (Datura stramonium) is a plant in the Solanaceae (nightshade) family. It's known by a number of names such as jimson weed, ditch weed, stink weed, loco weed, Korean morning glory, Jamestown weed, thorn apple, gypsum weed, hells bells, devil's trumpet, devil's snare, devil's seed, mad hatter, crazy tea, malpitte and zombie cucumber.

Dandelion (Scientific name: Taraxacum officinale) is a flowering herbaceous perennial plant of the family Asteraceae. It is a wild weed with yellow flowers, commonly found in the spring season. It is an edible and medicinal plant. It's used to treat jaundice, cholecystitis and cirrhosis. The dandelion also affects the digestive system by acting as a mild laxative, increasing appetite, and improving digestion. The milky latex is used to treat warts.
