Thanks joshi daniel for taking time to comment on my blog.
A most interesting mantis - I have seen a wood / brown variant before, but nowhere near as interesting as this specimen - excellent - those eyes are unique!
ReplyDeleteIt look like a baby bark mantis of some kind Birdy. When they are small like this, they are very hard to identify and it still has to moult a few times. Brilliant shots of it though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Zane! There's no end to the possibilities in this world. There's would be thousands of wonderful species of different creatures which we have to explore.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joan for the clue. Your help is much appreciated. Now I would probably find out the way.
ReplyDeleteI cannot tell what it is, but tell you this is some interesting creature. Hey may be its not in the books yet, would you love if it was your discover, lol. Excellent photos Birdy. Anna :)
ReplyDeleteI have never seen anything like this! It's unique!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna for the feedback. Bug identification is really a tough job. I submitted some insects for identification in different forums, but the experts on those forum failed to identify them. I love and enjoy discovering (introducing myself) and photographing different creatures.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kanak for the comment. I also saw this praying mantis for the first time in my life.
