Brassica is a genus of flowering plants in the mustard family, which also includes cabbage, broccoli, turnips, Brussels sprouts and many other familiar food plants. The important structures in a Brassica flower are the pistil, ovules, stamens, receptacle, pedicel, petals and sepals. The diagram below shows different parts of Brassica flower.
