  1. This sure is something different Birdy. In the middle picture - what is the one which is cut open with the large pips? It look very much like what we call Breadfruit but I did not know it was edible.

  3. Thanks Joan and Philip for your comment. The fruit you mentioned is Jackfruit. Which is treated as both fruit(ripe) and vegetable(unripe). The unripe fruit is cooked and eaten like other veges. Personally I never taste it, as it's neither grow in our area nor available in the market. In Pakistan it is grown in Sindh province. I took these images in Lahore Museum.
