Wild marijuana or wild cannabis (scientific name:
Cannabis sativa) grows almost every where in the plain areas of NWFP. The other common names of marijuana plant are feral hemp, hemp plant, ditch weed or bhang plant. In local languages Urdu and Pashto it called bhang. Bhang is also refer to a preparation made from cannabis which is being used as a psychoactive drug. Hashish or Chars is another product, which is the resin collected from the flowers of the female marijuana plant.

Marijuana has very beneficial effects as medicine. Among these are: The amelioration of nausea and vomiting, stimulation of hunger in chemotherapy and AIDS patients, lower intraocular eye pressure ( shown to be effective for treating glaucoma), as well as general analgesic effects.
The adverse effects of marijuana includes anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and psychosis.

ReplyDeleteFor your information those actually aren't buds, that is a male plant and those are pollen sacs. The female has the buds.

look at the female plant she does have the buds and they do look quite different than most commercial pot and look alot like round balls rather than elongated cylinder buds usually 6 in. to feet long.

ReplyDeleteThat's actually land race sativa and in some harsher areas like around the silk route indica can also been also be found but most plants found here in the wild are pollinated round November and December flowering starts and crops can be harvested
