The Head Lice-جوئیں (Pediculus humanus capitis) are small parasitic insects in the family Pediculidae, exquisitely adapted to living mainly on the scalp and neck hairs of their human host and feed on the blood. Adult head lice are about 1–3 mm long. Head lice are wingless. They have six legs, one pair of antenna, each with five segments and one pair of eyes. The abdomen consists of seven segments. The term lice is used as plural of louse. Here are some pictures of head lice and nits. It will answer the question, what does head lice look like?

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Your friend will be angry if she know about this. I think washing regularly with some good anti-lice shampoo will work. So it's up to you, gift her a good anti-lice shampoo as soon as possible.

ReplyDeleteI've been searching about head lice, suddenly I arrived to this post. Very true. Thanks to this post I now have an idea on how to deal with dominant people. I enjoyed reading, though I have nothing to deal with this.

ReplyDeleteYou can get head lice when you come in close contact with a person who has lice, or by touching their clothing or bedding. Better have a Head lice treatment.
Head lice do seem to be on the rise around the world, and you could attribute this to the growing population and possibly even climate changes. Head lice cannot jump or fly, they are transmitted by direct human contact.
