Physiphora alceae

The Physiphora alceae is a small sized, metallic green-colored fly in the family Ulidiidae (Picture-winged Flies), subfamily Ulidiina. It has a body length of about 4mm. It feeds on nectar, pollen and feces. The larvae of these flies live in manure or under barks.
