Red-striped Tiger Moth

The Tiger Moth is a collective name for the species of moths in the family Arctiidae. This Red-striped moth is Cyana sp. most probably Cyana selangorica, of tiger moth in the subfamily Lithosiinae.

Such pretty colours on the moth. Nowadays I see a lot of caterpillars amidst my plants. I hope I'll be able to capture the moths (when they come) as well!

Thanks dear for your visit and asking question. The Cocoon stage greatly depends on temperature. In my case moth emerged on the 6th day.
