Bath White Butterfly

The Bath White (Pontia daplidice) is a small butterfly of the family pieridae (yellows and whites) with a wingspan of 45 to 55 mm. The underside of the hindwing has a pattern of greenish blotches, which is characteristic of the bath whites and easily identifies it from other pierids.

I must say, your photos of nature are very unique and detailed. Your home must be surrounded by the most beautiful gardens.

Thanks Larry for comment and appreciation. To be honest there is almost no garden in our area. However we have some nature beauty around us, as we live in rural area.
